HOPI EAR CANDLING A relaxing holistic alternative to syringing. These hand made, bees wax candles are gently placed into the ear and lit. This creates a gentle vacuum effect and combined with the movement of the flam, which creates vibration in the ear candle, a massage effect is achieved on the eardrum. This creates a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. It is also helpful for earache, headache, tinnitus, stress and nervousness. Treatments may also increase nasal breathing and improve the sense of smell. It can also help reduce excessive earwax, snoring, glue ear, colds, flu, migraine and may be a suitable alternative to syringing. Finished with a facial massage which focuses on the ears and sinus canals and uses the pressure points to circulation and helping with sinus drainage. This treatment is suitable for both adults and children. Please note that we are unable to carry out treatment on those with the following symptoms/conditions: * Grommets. * Ear infection/inflammation. * Perforated ear drums or no ear drum. * Recent ear surgery. * Ear tumours. * If you have paracentesis, ostoclerosis or otospongiosis.
